Look no further! Step into the role of _Strategic Buyer_ at Danfoss Power Solutions’ Global Procurement & Supply Chain organization in the Controls Division and join us on an exciting journey.

In this position, you will become part of a dedicated and competent Global Procurement & Supply Chain team located in Easley. Collaboratively, we ensure effective management of our global suppliers so they deliver and improve on all parameters.

Please note: This position requires a regular onsite presence at least 3 days per week in our Easley office.

Job Responsibilities

As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for a range of strategic procurement activities to ensure long-term supplier development, as you drive the procurement agenda in a global matrix organization. In doing so, you will work across several global functions and serve as the vital link between supply chain and external suppliers

Your key responsibilities will include

+ Leading supplier relationships to drive capacity management discussions and delivery

+ Being responsible for a number of suppliers, including handling contracts, price negotiations, and benchmarking activities

+ Coordinating ramp-up and ramp-down activities for new and continuous improvement projects

+ Completing Logistic Service Level Agreements with selected suppliers

+ Supporting and occasionally leading cost reduction and other sourcing projects that improve cost, quality, and delivery from suppliers

+ Drive and support supplier change requests through our change management process
