Events Manager
As the North America Events Manager you will be responsible for creating exceptional event experiences that showcase Philips' brand, products, and solutions. The role ensures high engagement, manages extensive interactions with agencies and delivers high-quality events on time and on budget.
Your role:
+ Drives the execution of complex trade shows and events from conception to completion, managing all phases including planning, budgeting, vendor management, on-site execution, detailed post-event reporting and continuous improvement recommendations.
+ Works closely with Marketing teams to understand product and solution positioning, ensuring that event content and activities align with promotional strategies and enhance impact.
+ Builds and nurtures strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, internal teams, external vendors, and clients, to foster collaboration and deliver events based on aligned objectives.
+ Ensures compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate policies throughout the event planning and execution process, maintaining high standards of safety and governance.
+ Implements sophisticated measurement and analytics frameworks to assess event performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and demonstrate Return on Investment (ROI).
+ Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues or challenges that arise during event planning and execution, using strategic problem-solving skills to minimize disruption and uphold event quality
You're the right fit if:
+ You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience managing trade shows and proprietary events across a complex organization, experience in Healthcare or Technology B2B, B2G events strongly preferred
+ Your skills include Project management and organization skills with the ability to lead internal and external resources
+ You have a bachelor’s degree in relevant field
+ Proficiency in MS office, lean process and project methodology tools are a plus as well as Salesforce, MS Team, Sharepoint and other event management tools which are also a plus
+ Travel requirements may be up to 20%
+ You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Massachusetts is $106,680.00 to $170,688.00.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
