Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Logistics Coordinator includes but is not limited to being responsible for the coordination and direct management of truck shipments for Nucor Steel Berkeley. This position will be focused on securing trucks to ship beam and coil tons to our customers. A focus on customer service and cost will be essential in this role. This position will be required to cross train and fill in for the other roles within the traffic office. This position requires working scheduled and unscheduled overtime including weekends and holidays as business conditions warrant.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiar with Carrier Point TMS, AS400, DAT

+ Understanding of freight cost and basic freight calculations

+ Associates or Bachelors degree in Logistics
