About this role:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) in Technology as part of Enterprise Functions Technology within the Credit Risk and Integrated Data Management & Reporting (CRDR) Team. This role will support the ongoing Credit Risk strategic regulatory data and reporting efforts. It will primarily focus on the Credit Risk strategic transformation creating a modern, efficient, centralized cloud-ready platform supporting critical regulatory reporting and data processing business needs.
**Contract Duration** : 24 Months
**Location** : Charlotte, NC 28202
**Hybrid Schedule:** 3 days on site / 2 days remote
Required Skills & Experience
+ 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 4+ years of strong programming in either Java, Java Sprint Boot, Angular, C#
+ 2+ years of experience with core cloud application development
Desired Qualifications
+ Strong experience in database technologies like MongoDB, SQL Server, with emphasis on ETL Procedure, SQL Query/Store Procedures, Data Modeling, Business Objects
+ Experience in development in the cloud environment and basic architecture best practices
+ Experience developing web services such as Java Sprint Boot, etc.
+ Experience with object-oriented design, software patterns, and refactoring
+ Experience writing unit and integration test cases
+ Experience with microservice architecture building independently deployable, small, modular services
+ Robust knowledge and understanding of relational database design and implementation
+ Ability to refactor existing code to improve the system performance and ease of system maintenance
+ Experience building integrations between independent systems, services and data sources
+ Experience with Agile and/or Team Foundation Server, Confluence, Jira is a plus
What You Will Be Doing
+ Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
+ Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
+ Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
+ Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
+ Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
+ Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
