Key Responsibilities

+ Perform electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and facility systems.

+ Ensure compliance with state electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

+ Support preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

+ Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure efficient equipment performance.

+ Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and compliance activities.

+ Respond to emergencies and provide technical expertise to resolve electrical issues.

Qualifications

+ Valid California Electrical License (required).

+ Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or food manufacturing).

+ Strong knowledge of NEC codes, safety regulations, and GMP compliance.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

+ Experience with automated systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.

+ Knowledge of cleanroom and controlled environment requirements.

+ Familiarity with validation and documentation practices in regulated industries.
