Overview

SOSi is currently seeking an Access Control Specialist in Wiesbaden, Germany providing access and support for a complex program that provides professional services in advisory and analysis efforts for our customer.

Essential Job Duties

+ Provide static facility access control, perimeter security, and visitor validation for facility access, supported by roving security patrols, IDS/ESS/CCTV monitoring, and maintenance of all required guard posts.

+ Monitor alarm coverage for multiple SCIFs within the AOR (lock-and-leave facilities), coordinating after-hours responses, notifying the SSO of alarm outages/issues/incidents per tenant policies, and documenting alarm reports for after-action review by tenant units.

+ Maintain key and access rosters provided by tenant units, sign in/out keys accordingly, and support logistic/facility services with loading dock access requirements.

+ Conduct inspections of spaces and facilities to ensure operational readiness and compliance.

+ Respond to emergency incidents (fire and medical), coordinating base 911 services if required.

+ Ensure all security-related incidents are responded to and documented IAW local and U.S. Government policies and procedures, notifying the SSO, PMO, and COR as appropriate, and reporting to SFGS Supervisors any self-reported security violations by tenant affiliates or visitors.

+ Take self-initiative to be properly equipped, fit for duty, and knowledgeable of duties and responsibilities, maintaining training competencies.

+ Conduct shift reports, change-over briefs, and complete radio, telephonic, and email communications checks before the start of each shift and every 2 hours throughout.

+ Provide valid security-related functions associated with the protection of U.S. Government installations, materials, property, and personnel, ensuring compliance with local and U.S. Government policies.

+ Understand and implement SOPs for "Use of Force and Rules of Engagement (ROE)," staying informed of changes in the guard mission, threat conditions, and other pertinent information affecting the guard mission.

Minimum Requirements

+ TS/SCI w/Poly.

+ Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of recent specialized experience, or an associate's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, or a major certification plus 4 years of recent specialized experience, or 8 years of recent specialized experience.

+ Experience working with DoD force protection and physical protection rules and regulations.

+ Strong Microsoft Office experience.

+ Personnel and security clearance database experience.

+ Ability to track multiple independent projects.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification.

+ Recent experience working with CCTV systems.

+ Relevent Military experience.

+ Training in law enforcement.

+ Experience with personnel security (PERSEC)

Work Environment

+ Onsite work environment OCONUS.

+ Be available for 24/7 operations, including shift work, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
