    **Job Title:** Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

    **Location:** Sterling, VA

    **Pay Rate:** $30.00 per hour

    **Shift:** 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Monday – Friday)

     

    Job Overview

     

    Adecco is currently hiring a skilled **Maintenance Technician** for a 2nd shift opportunity in Sterling, VA. This role is responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance to ensure efficient operation of production machinery and plant facilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machines and facility equipment.

    + Conduct emergency repairs of production equipment and scheduled maintenance during machine service.

    + Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.

    + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.

    + Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments.

    + Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.

    + Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

    + Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report issues to supervision.

    + Support snow removal, salting, and grounds maintenance as needed.

    + Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

    + Experience with mechanical repairs including drives, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

    + Skilled in electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

    + Knowledge of low and high-pressure hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Experience with building systems and basic utility repairs.

    + Industrial PLC knowledge (desirable).

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    + Effective verbal and written communication skills.

    + Commitment to safety, quality, and security.

    Education:

    + High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required.

    + Technical college degree in Industrial Technology or related field preferred.

    **Pay Details:** $30.00 per hour
