Administrative Assistant
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20–$22/hr
About the Role:
Adecco is currently assisting a high-end appliance center in Newark, Delaware in their search for a professional and organized Administrative Assistant. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who excels in communication, scheduling, and digital tools, and enjoys working in a polished, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Greet and assist clients and vendors with professionalism and warmth.
+ Schedule deliveries and service appointments using Calendly and internal systems.
+ Manage digital documentation and communications using Google Docs and Google Workspace.
+ Coordinate calendars and meetings for sales and service teams.
+ Communicate with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
+ Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with efficiency and courtesy.
+ Support order tracking, invoicing, and follow-up communications.
Qualifications:
+ Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally in retail or luxury services.
+ Proficiency with Google Docs, Calendly, and scheduling tools.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
+ Professional demeanor and a customer-first mindset.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
