Job Summary:
We are seeking a temporary Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to support our administrative team during a short-term assignment. This role will primarily handle front desk duties, including answering a multi-line phone system, greeting visitors, and providing excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include assisting with accounts payable, daily invoicing, filing, and general office support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Answer and direct a high volume of incoming calls in a professional and timely manner.
+ Greet and assist walk-in visitors and provide information or directions as needed.
+ Process incoming and outgoing mail.
+ Assist with invoicing, customer payments, and basic accounts payable tasks.
+ Support bookkeeping with statements, past due follow-up, and vendor communications.
+ Maintain filing systems and perform clerical tasks for various departments.
+ Operate standard office equipment and use a variety of computer applications.
+ Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.
Qualifications:
+ 1+ year experience answering a multi-line phone system.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; ability to learn new software quickly.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
+ Customer service oriented with professional appearance and communication.
+ Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
+ Standard office environment with moderate noise.
+ Requires walking, talking, hearing, and use of hands to handle office equipment.
+ Close vision and ability to adjust focus required.
**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
