Summary:
The Idaho Department of Correction currently has an opening for an Administrative Assistant 2. This announcement is for the Saint Anthony Work Camp in St. Anthony, Idaho. This position provides support to the Warden at the facility.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform high level support duties.
+ Incumbents have a major role in assisting the Deputy Warden of Operations with Administrative Segregation hearings.
+ 3. The incumbents have a role in administrative activities supporting facility staff.
+ Incumbents function with considerable independence and exercise discretion in applying policies and procedures. The work requires extensive knowledge of department programs and objectives.
+ Independently research, analyze, and compile information to prepare reports, handle complaints, or resolve problems; compose correspondence on own initiative or from general instructions; format/type a variety of executive, sensitive, confidential, official and/or legal letters and documents.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Good knowledge of office support functions including word processing; filing; composing a variety of business documents; reception; and researching, compiling, and summarizing data for reports.
+ Experience: interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services; independently solving problems/performing liaison activities in a work setting; coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements.
