Position Overview

We are seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead the

execution of complex lab TI projects, including a high-profile engagement with Apple

in Sunnyvale. This is a 4-month contract-to-hire role with strong

potential for long-term placement based on performance. The ideal candidate

will bring enthusiasm, leadership, and a deep understanding of construction

project management—particularly from the General Contractor (GC)

perspective.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead full-cycle project management from preconstruction through closeout

+ Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client expectations

+ Supervise and mentor Project Engineers and junior staff

+ Drive progress and resolve issues on fast-paced lab TI projects

+ Conduct OAC meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders

+ Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and timely delivery

+ Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet project goals

+ Represent Milroy professionally in high-stakes client environments

Qualifications

+ 8+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably lab TI

+ Proven success managing projects on the GC side (not just Owner’s Rep)

+ Strong leadership and team-building skills

+ Excellent communication and client-facing abilities

+ Experience with Apple or other high-tech clients is a plus

+ Proficiency in project management tools and scheduling software

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $57.00/hr.
