Job Title: Analytical ScientistJob Description
Assist in the development and execution of methods related to the testing and characterization of biotherapeutics using analytical instrumentation and methodologies. Under minimal supervision, you will be responsible for method feasibility, development, optimization, transfers, qualifications, validations, and routine testing under both R&D and cGMP environments. Additionally, this role involves client interaction, and the interpretation and reporting of data for assigned research projects.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and execute analytical methods for testing biotherapeutics.
+ Conduct method feasibility, development, optimization, and transfers.
+ Perform method qualifications and validations.
+ Engage in routine testing under R&D and cGMP environments.
+ Interact with clients and interpret research data.
+ Report findings from assigned research projects.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in HPLC, Plate Reading, CE, ELISA, Empower, and Chromelion.
+ Experience with chromatographic analyses including process-related residuals.
+ Ability to perform quantitative monosaccharide analyses.
+ Skilled in ELISA and immunoassay analyses.
+ Proficient in process residual and drug product excipient analyses.
+ Experience with N-terminal sequencing and amino acid compositional analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with extinction coefficient determination.
+ Proficiency in using Empower and Chromelion software.
Work Environment
This position requires a mix of desk-based work, including documentation and experiment design, and lab work involving wet lab techniques. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs may be required. This is a Contract position based out of Malvern, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
