    Job Title: Phlebotomist

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated phlebotomists to draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. This role is crucial for the collection and receipt of biological specimens, ensuring accurate entry into our computer system, and preparing samples for analytical testing or distribution.

    Responsibilities

    + Collect and receive biological specimens accurately.

    + Enter specimen data into the computer system correctly.

    + Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to the appropriate analytical area.

    + Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.

    + Adhere to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 or more years of prior phlebotomy experience

    + Comfortable working independently.

    + GED or High School Diploma required.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in laboratory, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and patient care is advantageous.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a doctor's office in Phoenix, AZ, with working hours from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. You will work closely with medical assistants and have opportunities for career advancement. The environment supports growth, offering a career ladder with potential for promotion and pay increase after six months.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
