Job Title: QC Equipment Technician (HPLC)
Job Description
The QC Equipment Technician will be responsible for assisting with troubleshooting, minor repair, and calibration of chemistry and raw materials equipment for use in various laboratories. This role involves working with HPLC, UPLC, and GC testing, supporting CAPAs and Change Controls, as well as contributing to SOPs and method development.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs of chemistry and raw materials equipment.
+ Conduct calibration of laboratory equipment including HPLC, UPLC, and GC.
+ Support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) and Change Controls processes.
+ Contribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs and methods.
+ Perform equipment life cycle management and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ).
+ Support quality control through assay management and method validation.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with HPLC instrumentation and lab equipment.
+ Experience in method validation and quality control processes.
+ Knowledge of equipment life cycle management, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in QC chemistry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry.
+ Experience with microbiology and bioassay is a plus.
+ Familiarity with Maximo software.
+ Previous experience in a QC chemistry environment.
Work Environment
The position requires working 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 100% onsite. The technician will be part of a QC Chemistry group consisting of 5-6 team members. The work environment encourages business casual attire, hard work, and teamwork.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Norwood, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
