Job Description
The FPGA/ASIC Design Engineer will play a crucial role in the architecture, implementation, and verification/validation through software integration tests, ensuring the delivery of complex FPGA and/or ASIC systems. This high-impact role involves working on the development of communication products for national security.
Responsibilities
+ Develop architectures for implementing high throughput, complex designs involving cryptographic algorithms (VHDL) with high-speed protocols such as NVMe, PCIe/SRIOV, 10G-400G Ethernet, TCP/IP.
+ Perform IP development/integration targeting ARM SOC FPGAs and/or ASICs.
+ Write and debug tests/sequences for end-to-end simulation on the UVM framework using System Verilog Assertions.
+ Conduct SW driven validation on SOC evaluation boards.
+ Utilize state-of-the-art EDA flows/methodologies including Synopsys DC/Primetime/Synplify, Xilinx/Intel/Microchip EDA including HLS, Mentor Questa family, VIPs for UVM, Clock Domain Crossing (CDC), and Catapult (HLS).
Essential Skills
+ BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, MS preferred.
+ 5+ years’ experience with a proven track record of implementing complex algorithms targeting ASIC/FPGAs.
+ Proficiency in VHDL and FPGA design/debug using Xilinx FPGA/Vivado.
+ Excellent analytical and debug skills.
+ Active Secret Clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with High-Level Synthesis (HLS) using Vivado.
+ Embedded software development (OOP) and System Verilog Assertions (SVA).
+ Knowledge of high-speed protocols such as PCIe, TCP/IP, Ethernet.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $125.00/hr.
