Job Title: Inspector Job Description

Conduct daily inspections of electrical installations, including duct banks, pull boxes, conduits, lighting systems, control panels, and related infrastructure. Review plans, specifications, and codes to ensure compliance with contract documents and applicable standards. Monitor contractor activities for safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

+ Document inspection findings through detailed daily reports, including photos, crew activities, and materials used.

+ Participate in testing, commissioning, and verification of electrical systems.

+ Identify and report non-conformance issues and assist in resolution.

+ Coordinate with the Resident Engineer and other inspectors to ensure smooth project execution.

Essential Skills

+ 3-10 years of experience in electrical inspection for infrastructure projects.

+ Experience with Requests for Information (RFI).

+ Experience in construction inspection and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in construction and MEP inspection.

Work Environment

The role involves being on-site at the Battery Park City Project. The position will start as a part-time role (1-2 days a week) and transition to a full-time role as the project progresses. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr.
