    We are seeking a skilled Program Manager to coordinate project tasks and engineering milestones, ensuring that deadlines are met within the agreed timeframe and budget. The role involves managing project tasks for development projects, excluding build-to-print and contract manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate the technical scope with software, firmware, and electrical engineers, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, adhering to the company's quality standards and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate project tasks and engineering milestones to meet deadlines within time and budget constraints.

    + Manage project tasks for development projects, focusing on new orders and contracts.

    + Lead and coordinate technical scope with software, firmware, and electrical engineers.

    + Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, adhering to quality standards.

    + Partner with engineers to discuss design and engineering choices for profitability and scheduled timelines.

    + Manage communication between subcontractors, internal partners, and customers.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Project Engineering for development and R&D projects.

    + Experience leading projects or programs with a technical scope, partnering with software, firmware, and electrical engineers.

    + Direct experience managing budget, schedule, timelines for deliverables, and customer communication.

    + Schedule planning and project management skills.

    + Experience with project management, program management, project engineering, and customer interaction.

    + Experience with government programs, particularly in space and defense sectors.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Preferred experience in Space, Aerospace, Avionics Systems, Defense Aerospace.

    + Familiarity with AS9100 standards.

    + Project planning for development projects, including budget, cost, and scheduling.

    Work Environment

    The work environment consists of a small site with office space, assembly, and lab areas. Located in a modest office building within a small business park, it shares the area with Maxar Technologies. The company focuses on space avionics and sensor systems, serving commercial, space, and defense markets. The team develops, manufactures, and tests video systems integrated into satellites, rockets, and spacecraft, among other technologies. With a history of over 150 successful missions, the company plays a key role in major space missions, including collaborations with NASA, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, MAXAR, and ViaSat.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
