Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Emissions Dyno Technicians to focus on EPA testing for mileage and emission standards. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a basic understanding and formal education in automotive or related fields. You will work on-site full-time, handling vehicle emission testing and collaborating with team members across various levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
+ Set-up and perform emission testing on vehicles.
+ Evaluate test results and recommend corrective actions.
+ Drive test vehicles and operate them on test sites.
+ Conduct multiple tests per day, potentially focusing on a single vehicle.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Automotive industry experience is preferred.
+ An Associate's degree or relevant trade school certification is preferred.
+ Candidates with chassis dyno experience will be prioritized.
+ Experience in automotive quality control or similar testing environments is beneficial.
+ Familiarity with AVL, Horiba, or Burke Porter equipment is a plus.
+ Understanding of Global Manufacturing System principles is advantageous.
Work Environment
The position is based at the Milford Proving Grounds, featuring engineering centers, test labs, garages, and test tracks. The chassis dyno lab is equipped with both state-of-the-art and legacy test equipment. The role requires on-site presence and is open to all shifts. Candidates should indicate their availability for shifts in their application.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Milford Charter Township, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.50/hr.
