Summary:

Collects parking fees using a computerized cash register system and provides directions, information and parking alternatives to patients and visitors of Sisters Hospital, Seton Professional Building and St. Catherine Laboure' Health Care Facility as requested and during peak parking lot activity. Watches assigned lot for suspicious activity and reports such to campus security.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

+ High School diploma or GED required

+ Some College preferred

EXPERIENCE

+ Parking lot or parking ramp background preferred

+ Knowledge of computerized cash registers

+ Electronic or mechanical experience preferred

+ Past service in public relations field preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

+ Ability to work directly with the general public

+ Demonstrates good customer relation skills

+ Must have elementary knowledge of the English language

+ Ability to work independently

WORKING CONDITIONS

+ Work involves continuous interaction with customers in a fast-paced environment

+ Typical motions include repetitive hand and arm movements, repetitive grasping, bending and reaching

+ Exposure to car pollution, sun rays, dirt and grime in day to day work

+ Should be able to withstand adverse weather conditions; exposure to extreme temperatures
