Medical Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team focused on serving rural communities. This role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient practice operations and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

+ Accurately document patient health information and medical history

+ Manage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries

+ Follow up with patients via phone as needed

+ Perform Point of Care (POC) testing

+ Room patients promptly and ensure a comfortable experience

Required Qualifications

+ Certified or Registered Medical Assistant

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

+ Prior experience in a family practice or similar clinical setting

+ Proficiency in measuring and recording vital signs, including blood pressure

Preferred Skills

+ Strong verbal and written communication abilities

+ Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction

+ High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
