Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description: 

Actalent is currently seeking a Quality Engineer in Easton, PA. Qualified candidates will have experience with manufacturing and metrology equipment. The Quality Engineer leads the quality assurance program for the manufacturing plant. This individual collaborates with manufacturing and technical groups to build and monitor quality systems, ensuring all products produced in the plant perform as intended and deliver the desired customer and consumer experience.

Responsibilities

+ Lead the quality assurance program for the manufacturing plant.

+ Collaborate with manufacturing and technical groups to build and monitor quality systems.

+ Assure all products produced in the plant perform as intended.

+ Interpret product specifications and drawings.

+ Use laboratory and metrology equipment proficiently.

+ Apply statistical analysis tools effectively.

+ Interpret testing procedures and develop test reports based on findings.

+ Demonstrate good written, oral, and problem-solving abilities.

Essential Skills

+ BS degree in an engineering discipline required.

+ Three to five years of experience in quality assurance/manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to interpret product specifications and drawings.

+ Proficiency in the use of laboratory and metrology equipment.

+ Proficient in the use of statistical analysis tools.

+ Ability to interpret testing procedures and develop test reports.

+ Good written, oral, and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement.

+ Knowledge in statistical process control and root cause analysis.

+ Experience in a fast-paced, production-oriented manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a team of three engineers in the Manufacturing Quality group, led by the quality team leader. The role involves being on the floor, interacting with different groups to uncover process improvement deficiencies. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Medical, dental, vision, prescription. In addition, Value Share, target is between 3 and 7% of base salary, contribution to someone’s 401K. Also, match at 50% up to 6% and then longevity match which increases over time, would increase the match from 50% up to 100% on the first 6% but it does take some time to get there.
