Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer, where you will manage large square footage critical buildings, such as 350,000 and 130,000 square foot facilities. You will oversee building management systems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure the optimal functioning of HVAC and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

+ Manage large critical buildings, specifically 350,000 and 130,000 square foot facilities.

+ Oversee Schneider and ALC automated logic building management systems.

+ Perform preventive maintenance using InSite Production and MCCI for building systems.

+ Maintain CRAH units, chillers, FCU, FPT, RTU, and other HVAC equipment.

+ Conduct testing for electrical systems, including electrical audits and generator no load testing.

+ Perform water treatment and maintain cooling towers.

+ Create change controls and write maximum overcurrent protection (MOP) documents.

Essential Skills

+ Expertise in equipment preventative maintenance.

+ Experience with Schneider and ALC building management systems.

+ Proficiency in InSite Production and MCCI for preventive maintenance.

+ 5+ years experience in a regulated pharma or biotech environment.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biochemical, or Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong skills in identifying gaps in preventive maintenance for equipment.

+ Ability to collaborate effectively in large team settings.

+ Excellent communication skills.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing environment and requires on-site work five days a week. You'll be part of a cutting-edge pharmaceutical team that works with brand-new technologies and has a global reach. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to life-saving projects involving vaccines and rare drugs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
