    We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Applications Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong mechanical design and project management skills who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working directly with customers to develop custom-engineered solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop quotations for custom-engineered products based on customer specifications and application requirements

    + Create component and top-level assembly drawings using SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD

    + Execute Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to maintain accurate documentation

    + Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure designs meet cost, timeline, and technical requirements

    + Support manufacturing operations by transitioning new projects to the production floor, including tooling coordination, vendor communication, and production cell layout

    + Estimate material, labor, and tooling costs for quotations and provide detailed cost breakdowns

    + Identify risks and unknowns in new designs and plan research and development activities accordingly

    + Maintain bills of materials, purchase specifications, and production documentation for new and existing products

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical or other engineering disciplines will be considered)

    + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD

    + Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, project management, and manufacturing processes

    + Experience with bill of materials (BOM) creation and engineering documentation

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 2+ years of experience in a project management role

    + Familiarity with quoting processes and cost estimation for custom-engineered products

    + Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with sales, manufacturing, and external stakeholders

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
