    Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to support our production process. This role involves working under the guidance of project engineers and playing a crucial part in maintaining and improving manufacturing operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide daily support for manufacturing process equipment and controls.

    + Engage in onsite problem-solving in real time.

    + Communicate effectively with engineering and maintenance staff to ensure knowledge of issues.

    + Monitor and collect data to support improvement activities.

    + Schedule and run trial parts efficiently.

    + Submit parts to the testing lab for analysis.

    + Develop and modify robot programs to optimize performance.

    + Troubleshoot equipment issues using PLC monitoring software.

    + Ensure safe work practices in compliance with company policies, maintaining awareness of potential hazards.

    + Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

    + Proficiency in PLC monitoring and troubleshooting.

    + Strong background in manufacturing engineering, robotics, and troubleshooting.

    + 1-3 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, preferably in the automotive industry.

    + Experience with process/continuous improvement, process documentation, work instructions, and tooling.

    + Ability to discuss projects managed within a plant environment.

    + Experience troubleshooting and improving automated processes involving PLCs, Vision, and Robotics.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + AS Degree in Mechatronics, pre-engineering, or related field, or three plus years of manufacturing experience.

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics preferred.

    + Experience with PLCs (Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens) and Robots/Cobots (FANUC, ABB, Motoman) is preferred.

    + Familiarity with Vision systems (KEYENCE, preferred).

    + Candidates with entry-level mechatronics engineering experience or those currently in a maintenance role with project management experience are encouraged to apply.

    Work Environment

    The candidate will start on the 1st shift and transition to the 2nd shift once acclimated to the job. The role involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment, focusing on safety and adherence to company policies. Benefits include holiday and vacation time.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
