    Job Description

    This role involves managing new product launches, which includes developing equipment specifications, collaborating with outside vendors for quotes, and overseeing equipment buy-offs and production trial schedules. During non-launch periods, the individual will support production activities, including Kaizen and various continuous improvement projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop specifications for equipment in new product launches.

    + Collaborate with vendors to obtain quotes and oversee equipment procurement.

    + Manage production trial schedules and equipment buy-offs.

    + Support production activities through Kaizen and continuous improvement projects.

    + Engage in process improvement and capital projects.

    + 1+ year manufacturing experience (co-op/internship acceptable)

    + Knowledge of assembly equipment or injection mold tooling/processes

    + Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision

    + Strong team player

    Work Environment

    The role is based in Springfield, KY, focusing on injection mold and IP assembly. The environment is climate-controlled, with a team of nine, including technicians and engineers. Work is typically Monday to Friday, though hours may fluctuate during launch periods. Some travel to MI may be required for equipment buy-offs. The company supports major automotive OEMs like Ford and Toyota and values a growth mindset.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Springfield, Kentucky.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
