Job Title: Sr. Business Systems Manager
Job Description
The position is expected to provide daily support for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, enhancement projects, and lean initiatives related to our core enterprise application systems. This role demands a strong functional knowledge of ERP modules, especially in areas like order management, AR, AP, GL, procurement, shipping, and operations. Additionally, the specialist will support multiple third-party and custom applications beyond the ERP system.
Responsibilities
+ Manage, configure, enhance, maintain, and document company databases, primarily utilizing MS SQL server.
+ Lead company-wide projects to enhance and update the data within the ERP production system to improve business visibility into product costs.
+ Provide daily support for ERP production systems, enhancement projects, and lean initiatives.
+ Offer daily support for third-party applications/integrations and custom applications.
+ Facilitate business and systems analysis discussions, translating findings into clearly defined business requirements and functional design documents.
+ Collaborate with the development team in an onsite/offshore model to review technical designs and validate development deliverables.
+ Create test scripts to validate functional designs for flawless delivery.
+ Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing with business users to ensure high-quality delivery.
+ Work with business users to present, create, and coordinate the delivery of ERP solutions.
+ Maintain knowledge of current and future functionality and capabilities around core business applications.
+ Provide in-depth functional solutions to business leaders and IT management to ensure efficient development and configuration of application systems.
+ Manage IT internal and external audit requests and SOX requirements.
+ Support corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of new solutions.
Essential Skills
+ 7-10+ years of mid to large scale ERP experience as an application solution architect, business analyst, functional lead, or manager.
+ 7+ years of hands-on experience in configuring and supporting mid to large scale ERPs such as Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, M2M, Infor, NetSuite, or similar.
+ Strong hands-on experience in designing, guiding development, testing, and deploying reports, interfaces, customizations, extensions, and workflows.
+ Ability to create database queries for information when standard reports are unavailable.
+ Experience with Master Data Management (MDM), Material Requirement Planning (MRP), SQL Server: Management, Reporting & Analysis Services, and Business Intelligence (BI).
+ Proven ability to manage and develop staff.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ Experience with Aptean Made2Manage preferred.
+ Previous experience with SOX & CMMC compliance environments preferred.
Work Environment
This position requires onsite work daily. The role is suitable for a leader capable of assisting with system optimization and resolving business issues.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
