Job Title: Document Control Assistant
Job Description
This position supports the document control team and Project Managers in delivering quality materials and input information for engineering projects. The role involves setting up multiple small projects and assisting with medium to larger projects as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in the set-up of project standards and procedures.
+ Communicate document system procedures with team members.
+ Coordinate documents with multiple engineers for project needs.
+ Compile electronic project data books.
+ Issue transmittals to clients and vendors.
+ Process vendor submittals.
+ Package electronic documents for clients, vendors, and internal needs.
+ Notify appropriate personnel of troubleshooting issues with vendors and clients.
+ Monitor workflows for the project team.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
+ Comply with all policies and standards.
Essential Skills
+ Document control expertise.
+ Proficiency in data entry.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.
+ Familiarity with MS programs, SDx, Procore, and Aconex.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of applicable experience or equivalent experience.
+ Knowledge of construction and engineering environments.
Work Environment
This role involves working with various technologies and software including MS programs, Procore, and Aconex. The work is generally conducted in an office setting, following standard business hours. Adherence to company policies and standards is mandatory.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
