Electromechanical Technician
Job Description
Join our innovative team as an Electromechanical Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling control panels, wiring instruments, and sensors, as well as the mechanical assembly of production equipment. You will also work on assembling hydraulic systems and piping, primarily using stainless steel tubing and Swagelok connections, and building systems from process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
Responsibilities
+ Assemble control panels and wire instruments and sensors.
+ Conduct mechanical assembly of production equipment.
+ Assemble hydraulic systems and piping using stainless steel tubing and Swagelok connections.
+ Build systems from process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
+ Maintain detailed lab notes and update drawings.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in mechanical assembly and wiring.
+ Experience with control panel assembly and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to assemble production equipment and experimental hardware.
+ Competence in building systems from process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
+ Skill in wiring instruments and sensors, including small-gauge wiring.
+ Experience in assembling hydraulic systems and piping.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with P&ID.
+ Experience with small-gauge wiring is preferred.
Work Environment
This position operates within a chemical environment, exposing consultants to a variety of chemicals. The work supports several types of contracts, including those involving DOD explosives. Candidates must be comfortable working in this environment. The technician team consists of three people, and the company comprises 22 people. The company has recently expanded into a new facility, offering an exciting opportunity for further innovation and growth. This position is located in Boulder, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
