Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory TechnicianJob Description
Perform quality control testing of products in process using prescribed procedures and techniques. Adjust formulas based on quality control testing results to ensure products meet specifications. Document adjustments on batch tickets and QC cards, and approve finished goods that meet specifications. Sign off on batch tickets and QC cards for approved products.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct quality control testing of products in process.
+ Adjust formulas as needed to meet product specifications.
+ Document all adjustments on batch tickets and QC cards.
+ Approve and sign off on in-process products that meet specifications.
+ Test in-process products and sample every incoming product.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Chemistry.
+ Experience with FTIR and Microscopy, at least in an academic setting.
+ Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
+ Capability in laboratory work and color matching.
+ Associates or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Good communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively as a team player.
+ Motivated and demonstrates initiative.
