Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team, specializing in blood draw and specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. This role requires an individual who can efficiently manage the collection and receipt of biological specimens, ensuring their proper entry into our computer system, and preparing samples for analytical testing. The position also involves the distribution of specimens to the appropriate analytical area, handling both pre and post aspects of analytical testing, and performing specified analytical tests as assigned.

Responsibilities

+ Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.

+ Ensure accurate entry of specimens into the company's computer system.

+ Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to the proper analytical area.

+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.

+ Adhere to the Code of Conduct guidelines.

Essential Skills

+ 2-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience.

+ Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

+ Experience in blood draw, venipuncture, and specimen processing.

+ Comfortable working independently.

+ GED or High School Diploma required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in patient care and laboratory settings.

+ Knowledge of the phlebotomy process and specimen handling.

Work Environment

This role is based inside a doctor's office, drawing blood from patients and working closely with medical assistants. The work environment is professional, with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
