    Description

    Bethel Farms LLLP,a private and family-owned leading agricultural company, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Equipment Operator to join #TheBethelBest. As an Equipment Operator you will be responsible for operating multiple pieces of farm equipment including utility vehicles, fireflies, reel mowers, buffalo blowers and tractors, etc. This role is ideal for someone with good technical and communication skills who enjoys working outdoors and in a family oriented, supportive, and innovative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Operate and maintain a variety of equipment used in agricultural operations, including tractors, fireflies, and other equipment.

    + Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to the supervisor.

    + Report status of fields to farm manager/supervisor.

    + Work with the team to ensure that all operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

    + Assist with other tasks, as needed, such as planting, harvesting, and irrigation.

    + Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.

    Requirements

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience operating agricultural equipment

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

    + Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

    + Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to agricultural operations

    + Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

    Physical Demands of the position:

    Position involves regular, and at times sustained, performance of heavier physical tasks such as walking over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, kneeling, stooping, working in confined spaces, and lifting or carrying moderately heavy (20-50 lbs.) items and occasionally very heavy (100 pounds or over) items; or may involve the complex operation of gasoline, electric, or diesel-powered machinery or shop equipment requiring the manipulation of multiple controls, fine adjustments or both. Position requires color, sound, odor, depth, texture, and visual perception and discrimination. Chemicals mixed by recipe and safely handled and stored. Ability to work under adverse weather conditions (cold – heat).

     

    Noise Level: Farming machinery.
