JOB SUMMARY A Manager is responsible for the Biomedical Department. A Manager participates in strategic planning through the development and implementation of organizational goals. A Manager is accountable for the outcomes associated with the strategic pillars of growth, quality, service, people and community. This role supports the Blessing Health System as well as external contracts held by Denman Services. Is actively engaged and models the skills and behaviors that align with the health system’s mission. A Manager develops department goals in support of organizational goals. A manager reports to an Administrative Director or a member of senior leadership. Is an active advocate of Blessing Health System in the community.

The Manager of Denman Biomedical Services functions as primary administrative contact for executive leadership on biomedical technology issues. Direct activities of the Biomedical Engineering Department in the selection, procurement and delivery of biomedical equipment and services. Ensure all program elements are designed and implemented to comply with DNV, CMS, IDPH, and other regulatory and inspection agency requirements, guidelines and standards. Develop annual goals and objectives related to supporting the growth and development of biomedical engineering in response to present and future needs. Develop and manage annual operating budget of the Biomedical Engineering department.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED:

+ Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical trade school.

+ Minimum five (5) years experience in Biomedical Engineering field.

PREFERRED:

+ Minimum of eight (8) years experience in Biomedical Engineering field.

+ Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

+ Valid Driver's License

+ Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)
