Job Title: Assembly Operator

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Operator, where you will play a vital role in assembling custom fiber optic bundles. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of thriving in a collaborative work environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-quality products that meet our customers' needs, whether you are an experienced assembler or just starting your career in this industry.

Responsibilities

+ Clean and inspect products to ensure they are ready for the final stage of processing.

+ Prepare products, in conjunction with others, for various stages of processing in production.

+ Maintain a clean work environment to ensure product quality.

+ Log in and log out products as they move through the area, documenting quality concerns and products that do not meet customer criteria.

Essential Skills

+ Assembly experience.

+ Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or lab environment.

+ Proficiency with hand tools and assembly line processes.

+ Attention to detail and ability to concentrate on complex tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in soldering and cleanroom environments.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled area, following standard operating procedures to assemble fiber optics and operate microscopes to inspect product surfaces.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Idaho.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
