Job Title: Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Foreman to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ. This role involves oversight and direction of construction civil and new commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have the capability to read blueprints, possess civil construction experience, and have expertise in utility foreman construction and commercial/industrial construction, particularly in pipe installation.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee and direct civil and commercial construction projects.

+ Read and interpret blueprints for construction plans.

+ Operate excavators and dozers proficiently, using both CAT and DEERE controls.

+ Assist the crew with on-ground tasks as needed.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve construction-related issues.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in civil construction and utility foreman construction.

+ Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, specifically excavators and dozers.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency with using lasers for pipe leveling.

+ Experience with Mini Excavator & Skid Steer equipment.

+ OSHA certifications are a plus.

Work Environment

You will work alongside a supportive management team, with a schedule from Monday through Friday. The role involves primarily operating heavy equipment, and you will be expected to assist your crew on the ground as necessary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
