Job Title: Cuber Operator

Job Description

As a Cuber Operator, you will be responsible for lifting and loading blocks onto the machine line, performing quality control checks on blocks, and discarding damaged goods. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a machine operator role over time.

Responsibilities

+ Lift and load blocks onto the machine line.

+ Conduct quality control checks on blocks.

+ Remove and dispose of damaged goods.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to operate heavy equipment.

+ Capability to lift and load over 75 lbs.

+ Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Entry-level role.

+ Construction background preferred.

+ Reliability with a strong attendance record and work ethic.

Work Environment

Work in a dusty, dirty, and hot yard or block plant. This non-climate-controlled environment requires personal protective equipment at all times, including hard hats, ear plugs, glasses, and steel-toed boots. Training will occur on the first shift for one week, with subsequent placement on the second or third shift. The schedule includes mandatory Saturdays, with first shift running from 6 am to 2 pm, second shift from 2 pm to 10 pm, and third shift from 10 pm to 6 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
