Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer of Frozen Baked Goods in the US as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer. We are looking for a reliable professional with strong communication skills to maintain and repair bakery production equipment, freezers, and facilities efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose, and repair all equipment within the bakery, including production areas, building, and facility grounds.

+ Maintain equipment productivity to minimize downtime or malfunctions, ensuring tasks are completed within rigid time frames.

+ Ensure all work areas are clean and safe, following company GMPs.

+ Work safely and efficiently, staying compliant with Federal and State regulations.

+ Maintain accurate and timely records of work performed on work orders, maintenance calls, and preventative maintenance reports.

+ Respond to maintenance and line stoppage calls urgently to resume production.

+ Provide emergency repairs quickly and efficiently.

+ Perform duties in all areas within the maintenance department.

+ Provide technical assistance and information to the Chief Engineer as needed.

+ Display initiative by recognizing work that needs to be accomplished and making recommendations to the Chief Engineer.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in preventive maintenance, maintenance technician roles, and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Industrial electrical experience.

+ Inverter and PLC programming preferred.

+ Previous experience in maintenance of production line equipment and facilities at a large commercial bakery preferred.

+ Experience in maintaining industrial, manufacturing, or production line equipment preferred.

+ Ability to work in a high-temperature environment supporting fast-paced machinery.

+ Flexibility to perform different tasks as needed.

+ Ability to work any day, including holidays and weekends.

+ Reliable transportation for meeting 24/7 production standards.

Work Environment

Work in a commercial bakery environment with exposure to noise, dust, and food allergens. Personal protective equipment, including hair nets, gloves, smocks, and glasses, must be worn at all times.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lynnwood, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
