As a Pharmacy Technician with CVS Health, you will be a part of the Central Fill team, working in a closed-door pharmacy setting, and filling prescriptions on behalf of CVS pharmacy locations. You will play an integral role in producing and shipping a high volume of prescriptions, while working with an engaged team of pharmacists and technicians.
Job Description:
The Pharmacy Operations Support Pharmacy Technician role at Central Fill is part of a cross-functional team supporting Central Fill, Pharmacy Automation, and other internal business teams. In this role, you will provide day to day support for the Central Fill business team which includes inbox management, Help Desk Queue Management, and various other administrative functions in addition to normal dispensing functions as needed. CVS Central Fill pharmacies manage, fulfill, and ship prescriptions to retail stores in a closed-door setting. These pharmacies fulfill 10k-40k prescriptions per week utilizing multiple retail systems that are specialized for Central Fill operations. The Pharmacy Technician Support role builds upon the skills and responsibilities of the Retail Pharmacy Technician and is focused on supporting the pharmacists while demonstrating increased responsibility in corporate and retail environments. The Pharmacy Technician exercises being a role model, mentor, and liaison between store teams, field leaders, outside vendors, and a variety of internal business partners.

Schedule Requirements:
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with 8-hour shifts.
• **Weekend Availability Required:** Must be available to work **both Saturday and Sunday** , from **6:00 AM to 2:30 PM** .
• **Weekday Schedule:** In addition to weekends, you will choose **three weekdays** to complete your 40-hour schedule.
• Weekday shift options are:
• **5:00 AM – 1:30 PM**
• **10:30 AM – 7:00 PM**
Pay:
$17/hr + $2.50/hr shift allowance for working the weekend.
Required Qualifications
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ 3 Months of verifiable work history
+ **Essential Qualifications:**
+ Prior pharmacy technician experience
+ Multi-task and work efficiently while maintaining accuracy
+ Understand and manage orders within a multistep pharmacy workflow
+ Ability to utilize basic and advanced functions of Microsoft Office including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
+ Understand and use pharmacy terminology
+ Master the use of prescription processing
+ Use complex pharmacy automation equipment to produce orders
+ Effectively communicate with stores and vendors via phone
+ Understand and work in compliance with appropriate pharmacy rules and regulations
+ Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data, including protected health information
+ Ability to stand during the entirety of shifts lasting 8+ hours
+ Manual dexterity of both hands and wrists
+ Lift up to 30 lbs
+ Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance
+ Availability 8am-4pm on weekdays, with flexible availability to work evenings and weekends when necessary

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $28.46
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
