Your Next Opportunity: Fund Accountant – San Francisco

We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our San Francisco office. This is a high-impact role with immediate visibility across fund operations, financial reporting, and investor relations. You’ll work closely with a tight-knit accounting team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where your contributions will be valued and your growth supported.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Manage general ledgers for funds and general partners, including investment activity, expenses, and accruals

+ Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements with precision and timeliness

+ Support year-end audits and coordinate tax-related processes

+ Oversee fund cash flows, capital calls, and distributions

+ Partner with Investor Relations to respond to LP inquiries and reporting needs

+ Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and special projects

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Experience

+ 1.5 to 4 years of experience in accounting or fund accounting

+ Public audit experience with investment management clients is a strong advantage

Education

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

Certifications

+ CPA license preferred, or active progress toward certification

Preferred Skills

+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

+ Clear and professional communication style with a confident presence

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

+ Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and a commitment to excellence
