Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant with hands-on experience in NetSuite and a background in manufacturing accounting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory processes, and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform daily accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.

+ Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to inventory, COGS, WIP, and fixed assets.

+ Leverage NetSuite ERP for accounting processes, reporting, and workflow improvements.

+ Support cost accounting and manufacturing variance analysis, ensuring accuracy in standard costing, BOMs, and overhead allocation.

+ Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

+ Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.

+ Partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams to analyze inventory levels, production costs, and margin performance.

+ Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.

+ Recommend process improvements to streamline accounting and reporting efficiency

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA a plus).

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong NetSuite ERP experience required (transaction processing, reporting, customizations).

Solid knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing methods.

Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
