We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a state-of-the-art facility. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facility and production equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. This role requires a proactive individual who is adept at troubleshooting and providing maintenance solutions.

Responsibilities

+ Safely perform functions of the position, adhering to safety guidelines and wearing PPE as required.

+ Operate, maintain, and repair all facility and production-related equipment following company regulations and standards.

+ Analyze equipment failures, inspect, replace, alter, and maintain building and production services and equipment.

+ Perform planned maintenance on building equipment and related services, responding to customer needs.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and implement maintenance procedures.

+ Maintain spare parts inventory and keep stock persons informed about parts usage.

+ Assist in installing, inspecting new equipment, and servicing installations.

+ Support co-workers, contractors, vendors, and building managers for project and renovation work.

+ Comply with all regulations, codes, standards, and safety practices.

+ Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

+ Respond to and provide service for all work orders, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

+ Recommend improvements to maintenance methods and equipment performance.

+ Operate various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments for energy efficiency solutions.

+ Use equipment such as hand tools, laptops, and diagnostic hardware to perform work.

+ Maintain a strict schedule while demonstrating flexibility in daily activities.

+ Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.

+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance and installation.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and schematics.

+ Understanding of low voltage electrical work.

+ Ability to operate machinery like forklifts and equipment moving rigs safely.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous maintenance experience or applicable experience from personal activities.

+ Cleanroom and semiconductor experience preferred.

+ Blueprint and schematic reading skills.

+ Ability to work overtime when requested.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean, air-conditioned manufacturing facility with cleanrooms of varying levels. PPE is required throughout the production floor. The facility's newness means most work involves preventative maintenance and upkeep.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
