Job Title: Process Operator

Job Description

As a Process Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to fill customer orders accurately and promptly, ensuring they are ready for delivery. This involves handling products and performing various tasks to maintain cleanliness and order within the plant.

Responsibilities

+ Receive directions from the shift manager to fill customer orders and ensure they are staged at the dock for loading onto trucks.

+ Utilize electronic pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts to move and stage finished totes or palletized drums.

+ Complete accurate paperwork, including process conditions, test results, instrument readings, and shipping documentation.

+ Engage in general cleaning tasks, including washing hoses, cleaning drums, and maintaining a tidy warehouse environment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with sit-down forklift operations for at least six months.

+ Background in manufacturing, production, or labor-intensive roles.

+ Strong customer focus and attention to detail, ensuring accurate labeling and item selection.

+ Willingness and ability to work outdoors as needed.

+ Must wear steel-toed shoes.

+ Ability to accept direct feedback on work performance and processes.

+ Comfortable working with chemicals in a safe and procedural manner.

Work Environment

Shifts include 1st shift (4am-12pm), Mid Shift (8am-4pm), and 2nd shift (12pm-8pm, sometimes 8:30pm).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of the southwest side of Indianapolis

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
