    Job Title: General Production Worker - Mid Shift

    Job Description

    Join a global leader in bio-solutions, where you will contribute to the production of products for yogurt, animal feed, and more. As a General Production Worker, you will engage in a variety of tasks essential for maintaining efficient production processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform manual cleaning of machines during product changeovers.

    + Lift up to 50lb bags of raw materials into hoppers.

    + Assist operators in running various machines.

    + Learn and adhere to proper GMP requirements and chemical safety practices.

    + Document production runs accurately.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years in general production.

    + At least 1 year of GMP experience.

    + Ability to lift 50lbs.

    + Experience with sanitation, mixing, and blending processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in mixing/blending of powders or liquids.

    + Previous experience in safely handling chemicals used for sanitation.

    + Ability to read and write in English.

    + Basic mechanical aptitude.

    Work Environment

     

    This role operates during mid shift hours, with a schedule of 7 days on/7 days off. Weekdays are from 1pm to 11pm, and weekends from 9am to 9pm. The environment is GMP-compliant, requiring the use of a hair net, beard net, smock, steel toes, gloves, hard hat, and safety glasses. The facility is clean and climate-controlled, providing a low-key environment with no strong odors and a moderate pace. Occasionally, you will need to enter a deep freezer set at -55 Celsius.

    This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
