Forklift Operator – (1st Shift)

**Pay Rate:** $19.93/hr | Overtime: $29.90/hr

**Shift:** Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM + OT as needed

Job Overview

We are seeking **Standup Forklift Operators** to support production and shipping operations. You’ll be responsible for supplying materials to assemblers, transporting completed parts, and loading trucks for delivery. This is a fast-paced, unionized warehouse environment requiring strong attention to safety and forklift proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

+ Deliver materials to assembly cells for production.

+ Move completed parts to the shipping department.

+ Load trucks in the shipping/receiving area.

+ Operate **high-reach stand-up** and **sit-down forklifts** safely and efficiently.

Required Skills

+ Proven experience operating **stand-up and sit-down forklifts** .

+ Background in **material handling** , **warehouse operations** , and **shipping/receiving** .

+ Ability to pass a **forklift competency test** .

+ Comfortable working in **tight quarters** and **non-climate-controlled environments** .

Additional Information

+ **Union Dues:** Begin after 60 days. First month: $30.26 deducted weekly. Ongoing: $15.13 deducted weekly.

+ **PPE:** Safety glasses provided and required.

+ **Training:** Includes forklift test, 2 days of classroom/hands-on training, and orientation.

+ **Workplace Type:** On-site

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.21 - $21.21/hr.
