Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a heavy industrial setting where you will work with older manufacturing machines and industrial metal wires. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing equipment, reading and interpreting blueprints, and performing some welding tasks. This role requires hands-on experience with preventative maintenance, repair, replacement, and troubleshooting of mechanical components.

Responsibilities

+ Repair and maintain older industrial machines.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Perform welding tasks as required.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions.

+ Collaborate with a large maintenance team to ensure equipment functionality.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience.

+ Proficiency in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Experience with welding and using hand tools.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills in a mechanical setting.

+ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in an industrial environment is beneficial.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.

Union benefits

$750 bonus the first 3 months and $750 after 6 months worked

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Irwindale,CA.
