    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    + Working with sheet metal involving operating machines to cut, bend, punch, and shear materials, as well as ensuring machines are functioning correctly. To build large commercial size HVAC units.

    + The role is primarily computer-based, requiring you to press buttons and monitor screens to facilitate operations.

    + Pay is anywhere from $22-28/hr based on experience

    Responsibilities

    + Run raw sheet metal coils through machines to create parts such as wall panels and racks.

    + Operate various machines including cutters, benders, punches, and shears.

    + Load and unload materials efficiently.

    + Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning.

    + Inspect final parts to ensure quality.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with sheet metal fabrication and grinding.

    + Proficiency in press brake and CNC machine operation.

    + Mechanical aptitude and programming knowledge.

    + Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and mathematics.

    + Proficient with hand and power tools, and computer technology.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ideal candidates will have CNC press brake experience.

    + Experience with mills/lathes and familiarity with programming is a plus.

    + Ability to work with sheet metal and interpret blueprints for part fabrication.

    Work Environment

    + The work is conducted in a large, temperature-controlled facility dedicated to the production of custom HVAC units for commercial properties.

    Job Type & Location

    + This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheney, Washington.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
