Job Title: machine Operator

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a highly automated facility where you will be part of expanding production lines. This role focuses on the operation of deodorant and body wash production lines, contributing to the setup and maintenance of new machinery.

*2nd Shift Position: Monday - Friday 3p - 11:30p

Responsibilities

+ Operate and manage the deodorant and body wash production lines.

+ Collaborate with a team of 4-5 individuals on each machine.

+ Perform changeovers and set up machines efficiently.

+ Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.

+ Handle general labor tasks such as moving boxes of labels and changing shrink wrap rolls.

Essential Skills

+ Strong troubleshooting abilities.

+ Mechanical inclination.

+ Previous experience in manufacturing.

+ Experience in machine setup and operation using hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ No formal diploma required, although a High School Diploma is necessary for advancement.

+ Successful completion of safety training on the first day.

Work Environment

Expect a very fast-paced and slightly unorganized work environment within a highly automated facility. The role involves working night shifts from 6:30 pm to 7 am, with initial training provided on a day shift from 6:30 am to 7 pm. Be prepared for physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs.

This is a Contract position based out of Raeford, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
