    How you create impact

     

    The National Human Resource Business Partner is responsible for enhancing the relationship between the Leadership Team and the human resources department to drive and complete HR initiatives for the organization. Your role will include analyzing HR policies and procedures to determine their relevance to company goals or values. Main responsibilities:

     

    + Establish and maintain a positive and productive relationship with senior business leaders within assigned business units to establish HR strategic direction and drive business effectiveness

    + Partner with management in their business area to make sure employees have the skills and resources they need to achieve their objectives.

    + Develop plans for recruitment, training, restructuring and succession and helping relevant staff implement them.

    + Coach managers on ways to engage their employees and lead more effectively.

    + Gain and maintain an understanding of the industry, the business, and its strategy.

    + Provide HR leadership to meet business unit goals & objectives by providing business insight and perspective to the COEs and Shared Service Center and collaborating with them to develop and/or deliver HR solutions and content for the business.

    + Analyze trends and metrics as they apply to assigned business groups; use data and analysis to provide insight for decision making and provide appropriate interventions to achieve business goals and increase employee engagement, commitment, and retention.

    + Develop and maintain an agreed project plan and detailed stage plans.

    + Understand and apply business case and risk management processes.

    What we would like you to bring

    + Bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years of experience in a HR Business Partner role with multinational organizations.

    + Previous experience supporting business clients in a matrix environment.

    + Strong interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills required in order to communicate and present across all levels within the organization.

    + At least 5 years of experience in employee relations, with emphasis on employee and/or labor relations and human resources policy development

    + Organized, methodical, and process oriented.

    + Ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects.

    + Ability to travel frequently and on short notice.

    + Experience with multiple locations and/or business units, dealing with a broad range of HR-related areas at senior levels of organization.

    + PHR, SPHR, GPHR certification required.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data. #LI-PD1
