    Drayage Dispatcher

    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Schedule and dispatch drivers for container pickups and deliveries

    + Communicate with port terminals, warehouses, and customers to ensure timely movement of freight

    + Monitor driver locations and update delivery statuses in dispatch systems

    + Resolve issues related to delays, equipment, or documentation

    + Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and container tracking

    + Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies

    + Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to meet service expectations

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in drayage dispatch or intermodal logistics

    + Strong knowledge of port and rail operations

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills

    + Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

    + High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or transportation-related education is a plus

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.06/hr.
