Compensation: Up to $25/hour

We’re seeking a Desktop & Education Support Specialist to join our team for a 4-month onsite contract in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical support environment and enjoys working directly with end users and instructional technology.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide professional desktop support for Windows and Mac OS platforms.

+ Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues both onsite and remotely.

+ Deliver and set up workstations and peripherals; maintain inventory documentation.

+ Support classroom technology including video projection, audio systems, and AV equipment.

+ Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs in instructional spaces.

+ Install and upgrade classroom technology as needed.

+ Communicate and report outages and technical issues.

+ Lead complex help desk projects and serve as an escalation point.

+ May require flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Required Experience:

+ Minimum 2 years supporting desktop computers in a networked environment.

+ Familiarity with AV equipment used in teaching, meeting, and event spaces.

+ Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

+ Organized approach to managing documentation and technical information.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
