Job Title: Mortgage Processing Assistant

Description:

Mortgage Processing Assistants provide vital administrative support to the Processing team by managing documentation and coordinating communication. This role involves working across multiple systems to support a high-volume pipeline of mortgage loans. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist with administrative tasks including scanning, filing, and assembling paperwork

+ Communicate with internal employees via phone to gather borrower information

+ Work within multiple systems to manage loan documentation

+ Contact third-party companies to retrieve loan-related information

+ Order and verify homeowner’s insurance documents

+ Request and receive necessary mortgage documentation

+ Conduct employment verifications for potential borrowers

+ Accurately enter mortgage documents into internal databases

Required Skills:

+ Administrative support

+ Data entry

+ Loan processing

+ General support in mortgage operations

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 1+ year of experience in financial services (mortgage experience preferred)

+ 3+ years of administrative and data entry experience

+ Strong written communication skills

+ Ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently

+ High attention to detail

+ Self-motivated and able to work independently

+ Experience in financial services or banking is a plus

+ Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
